Itay Vinik

Itay Vinik is the CIO at Equi. Itay has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on trading and hedging strategies. Itay began their career as a Staff Sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), where they served for three years. Itay then transitioned to the financial industry, working as a Wealth Analyst at UBS for two years. In 2013, they co-founded United Global Advisors, an investment advisory firm with $100MM in assets under management. Itay served as the head portfolio manager for Ace of Swords, LP, and developed various trading and hedging strategies. Itay has traded in equity indexes, commodity and F/X markets, including derivative products. In December 2019, they joined Equi as the CIO.

Itay Vinik's educational career would involve completing a degree in Global Studies with a specialization in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
