Wayne Chan

Wayne Chan is an experienced AmLaw firm counsel and partner serving as General Counsel for industry-leading sponsors of private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and institutional investment management. Currently, Wayne is a General Counsel at both Memphre Investments, L.P. and Equilibrium Ventures, LLC, and holds a position as Counsel in Dechert's Financial Services Practice Group. Wayne's previous roles include Product Structuring Lead at Partners Group and Senior Vice President & Senior Counsel at BBH Capital Partners. They have also practiced law in notable firms like Winston & Strawn LLP, Shearman & Sterling LLP, and BurgherGray LLP. Wayne holds a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
