Lancée le 20 octobre 1999, EQUIDIA est la première chaîne de télévision dédiée à l'univers des courses de chevaux. La chaîne diffuse des courses hippiques françaises et internationales et des émissions consacrées à cet univers. Avec 10 heures de courses retransmises en direct chaque jour, EQUIDIA est aujourd’hui le premier diffuseur sportif en Europe.
 
La chaîne propose des analyses, des décryptages et des pronostics au parieur. Qu'il soit expert ou amateur, le parieur est au coeur de la stratégie d’EQUIDIA.
 
Disponible dans le réseau des points de vente du PMU et sur le bouquet de base de tous les opérateurs (câble, satellite, fibre et ADSL), soit 23 millions de foyers en France métropolitaine, EQUIDIA rassemble chaque mois 1,3 millions de téléspectateurs. La chaîne est également distribuée dans les territoires d’outremer, en Belgique, en Suisse et à Monaco.
