Edward Monrad

Edward Monrad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and market structure within the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Strategy at Optiver, Edward leads a team focused on market structure, post-trade processes, government relations, strategic investments, and corporate development across EMEA. Previously, Edward held key roles such as Head of Market Structure and Head of Equity Index Options and Futures Market Making at Optiver, along with Senior Options Trader and Options Trader positions. Edward has been involved with various organizations, including serving as a non-executive director and board observer for Equiduct and BUX, respectively, and an executive committee member of FIA European Principal Traders Association. Edward's early career included impactful roles at AMS Derivatives and within notable organizations such as Kellogg School of Management and Lehman Brothers. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics from Northwestern University.
