Equifinance is a specialist second charge mortgage lender. We work closely with our UK wide distribution partners to develop and deliver lending products that suit the needs of a wide spectrum of customer circumstances. We seek to develop products that are designed to cater for a variety of customer needs. In particular we look to help applicants who have historically experienced financial difficulty but are in the process of recovering their financial situation. At Equifinance we are also sympathetic to customers whose employment situation is unusual, if they are relatively new to their current role or recently self employed. We do not use automated credit scoring. Instead, we prefer to look at an applicant’s circumstances as a whole and this enables us to take a flexible approach when making a decision to lend. We keep it simple.
