Liming Lu

LiMing is the Director of Engineering at Equilar leading the Insight team, which innovates and improves Equilar's core products. He is responsible for mentoring the Insight team which consistently delivers releases and product enhancements on time at Equilar. LiMing was also a key contributor in Equilar's transition from a traditional Data Center to the Cloud.

LiMing brings over 30 years of experience working on software solutions, and has deep expertise in startup and public companies. Prior to joining Equilar, he worked at InterTrade Systems where he developed the Electronic Data Interchange solution, which allowed clients to easily increase their business potential. Before that, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer for TravelNet (acquired by Reed Elsevier) where he set up travel booking platforms to service small to medium sized travel agencies. He started his career at GE Harris Energy Control Systems where he developed a next-generation power control system for a Finnish company. LiMing earned his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
