Ajay Narang

Ajay Narang is an experienced executive with a strong background in sales and client services, currently serving as Associate Director at EquiLend since July 2025. Prior to this role, Ajay was the Chief Revenue Officer at Alternatives.pe, focusing on providing data and insights for Venture Capital and Private Equity professionals in Southeast Asia and Australia. Ajay has also held senior positions at Preqin as SVP & Head of Asia Sales & Client Services, and at Mergermarket, where responsibilities included Head of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Earlier career highlights include roles at Sweet & Maxwell, MergerID, and Avail Corporation. Ajay holds a dual honours Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Keele University, complemented by studies at Harvard University.
