Matt Kantner

Matt Kantner, PE, SE, is an Associate Principal at EQUILIBRIUM, where they lead various innovative projects in structural engineering and mass timber design. Previously, they served as a Senior Engineer at Katerra, contributing significantly to building platform development and mass timber research. Matt began their career as a Project Engineer at Uzun + Case, where they led numerous commercial and institutional projects, and they also held a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, focusing on bridge testing methods. They hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from The College of William and Mary.
