Jonathan Piernik

Jonathan Piernik, C.P.A. has extensive work experience in accounting and financial reporting. Jonathan started their career as an Accountant at David J. Hollinger Associates, Inc. in 2002 and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined Merck as an Associate Accountant and was responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly reports, reconciling accounts, and creating macros to enhance data integrity. Jonathan then worked at Chubb as a Reinsurance Accountant II for a brief period in 2006 before joining MOL (America) Inc. In MOL (America) Inc., they held the positions of Senior Corporate Accountant and Senior Accounting Analyst, where they supervised staff accountants, managed the financial close process, and prepared tax provisions and filings. Since 2015, Jonathan has been working at Equiliem (previously Staffing The Universe) as a Senior Accountant, Manager of General Accounting, and currently as the Director of General Accounting and Financial Reporting. In this role, they manage the accounting department, ensures compliance with financial procedures and regulations, prepares and analyzes financial reports, and manages the treasury function. Their expertise includes audit, compliance, tax, and budgeting.

Jonathan Piernik, C.P.A. obtained their B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University from 2000 to 2005. After completing their bachelor's degree, they pursued additional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) from Rutgers Business School in the field of Accounting. Jonathan successfully obtained their C.P.A. certification in February 2007.
