Melissa Kitchen

Melissa Kitchen is the current Vice President of Marketing Services at Equine Network. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising, including positions such as Director of Marketing Services and Director of Digital Media Operations.

Kitchen began their career in marketing at Penton Media in 2000, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become the Director of Ad Operations and Systems. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's advertising operations, as well as designing and implementing new systems and applications that would improve efficiency and profitability.

In 2008, Kitchen left Penton Media to join UBM Canon as their Director of Digital Media Operations. In this role, they oversaw the company's digital media assets and was responsible for increasing revenues from $5 million to $14 million in just three years. Melissa also served as the contract liaison for all of UBM Canon's vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships.

In 2012, Kitchen left UBM Canon to join Active Interest Media - Equine Network as their Vice President of Marketing Services. In this role, they oversee a team of project managers, ad traffickers and web designers responsible for all digital products. Melissa is also responsible for key aspects of the company's online strategic and tactical plans, as well as liaising with internal and external clients.

Kitchen is a highly experienced and successful marketing professional who has demonstrated their ability to increase revenues, create efficient systems and manage relationships with vendors and clients. Melissa is a valuable asset to any company lucky enough to have their on their team.

Melissa Kitchen started their educational career at Darlington High School. Melissa then went on to Colorado State University, where they earned a BS in Equine Science. After that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where they studied Animal Science. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a degree in Animal Sciences.

Melissa Kitchen reports to Tom Winsor, President & CEO. They are on a team with Colin Bunn - CTO, Ty Yost - President of Team Roping Operations, and Dino Theofanous - CFO.
