Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith PhD is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and trading within the technology and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Equinix since May 2021, Andrew is focused on creating a self-service Colocation ordering channel. Previously, Andrew held positions as a Product Owner at Syncron and WebInterpret, where skills in Agile Product Management and localization services were applied to enhance enterprise SaaS products and e-commerce sales. Prior to these roles, Andrew also made significant contributions in trading and data science at Unimot S.A., Gunvor International, and CERN. Andrew's academic credentials include a First Class MPhys in Physics from The University of Edinburgh, a PhD from the same institution, and an MA in International Trading from the University of Geneva.
