Andy Catton

Andy Catton has over 30 years of experience in engineering and technical management within the data center and power generation sectors. Currently serving as the Global Technical Director for Commissioning and previously as Global Director of QA/QC and EMEA Director of Design Engineering at Equinix since October 2018, Andy has a strong background in technical operations and engineering leadership. Prior roles include Technical Operations Director and Engineering Director at Infinity SDC, as well as Technical Infrastructure Manager at COLT Telecom, where a focus on data center design and implementation was emphasized. Early career roles involved positions in service management and electrical engineering at various companies, including SDMO Energy and the Royal Air Force. Andy's education includes training at the 4 School of Technical Training at RAF St Athen.
