Ed Lee

Ed Lee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management within the technology sector. Currently serving as Global Director of MCE Project Execution at Equinix since July 2020, Ed leads a team of over 30 procurement professionals focused on Major Capital Equipment for Data Center Infrastructure while managing substantial annual budgets with an emphasis on cost savings. Prior to Equinix, Ed held the position of Global Commodity Manager at Google, where responsibilities included managing the supply chain and overseeing contract negotiations for electrical equipment in global Data Center projects. Ed’s career began at Atmel Corp. as a Test Equipment Engineer, followed by roles at Intel Corp. as an Equipment Development Engineer and Capital Supply Manager, enhancing technical solutions and supplier relationships. Ed holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
