Marko Piipponen

Marko Piipponen is an experienced data center and project manager currently serving as the Manager of Campus Operations at Equinix, a position held since January 2013. Marko has a robust background in managing day-to-day operations, budgeting, and overseeing various data center projects, including expansions. Prior to Equinix, Marko held roles at Academica Oy and Systeam Business Solutions Oy, focusing on outsourcing and ICT infrastructure projects. Marko began his career as a Technical Specialist and Security Guard, after completing military service and before pursuing engineering studies. Marko holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and a Vocational Qualification in Business Information Technology from POINT College.
