Michael Hupe

Michael Hupe possesses extensive experience in critical facilities engineering and operations, currently serving as Manager Critical Facilities Engineering at Equinix since February 2014. In this role, Michael Hupe manages multiple IBX projects, focusing on customer equipment, capital improvements, and preventative maintenance systems, while ensuring compliance with corporate safety and environmental policies. Prior to Equinix, Michael served as a Data Center Technician at RagingWire Enterprise Solutions, where diagnostic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of critical facilities equipment were key responsibilities. Michael Hupe's background also includes significant military experience, having supervised nuclear-trained mechanics and managed maintenance operations aboard the USS George H W Bush, along with training responsibilities at the Nuclear Power Training Unit. Michael Hupe holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University.
