Tom Langer

Tom Langer has extensive experience in operational leadership and technology development, currently serving as Vice President of Global Operations Enablement at Equinix since June 2018, where Langer leads a team focused on advancing automation and predictive analytics within data center operations. Prior to Equinix, Langer was Vice President of Solution Delivery at DigitalGlobe from February 2015 to June 2018, spearheading product engineering initiatives to enhance customer access to satellite imagery. Langer's tenure at Level 3 Communications spanned from 1999 to 2015, with roles including Vice President of Product Development and IT, where Langer successfully re-established product development and improved service delivery. Additional prior experience includes leadership positions at IXC Broadwing Communications, SBC Technology Resources, and U S WEST Advanced Technologies. Langer holds a Master's degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado.
