Alejandro Bello

Alejandro Bello is a Principal Research Petrophysicist at Equinor, with a career spanning over a decade in reservoir engineering and petrophysics focused on oil and gas, natural gas hydrates, and CO2 storage. Prior to this role, Alejandro served as a Petrophysicist at Statoil, working on the Troll Production Unit, and as a Reservoir Simulation Engineer for the Troll Field's long-term development projects. Alejandro began the professional journey as a Junior Geologist at Pacific Rubiales Energy, contributing to assets management through cartography and project blueprint production. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physical Sciences from the University of Bergen, an MSc in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Heriot-Watt University, and a BSc in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
