Berent Lunde

Berent Lunde is currently serving as a Principal Analyst in Software Engineering at Equinor, where they are involved in researching new algorithms for ensemble-based data assimilation. They are also an Associate Professor in Machine Learning at the University of Stavanger. Previously, Berent held roles as a Partner and Senior Consultant at Sonat AS, and as a Data Scientist at Frende Insurance. They obtained a PhD focused on adaptive methods in computational statistics from the University of Stavanger and have extensive teaching experience in statistics and machine learning at various institutions.
