Colin Bennett

Colin Bennett is a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Equinor, currently working on the Bacalhau FPSO in Rio de Janeiro. Beginning their career as a Draughtsman at British Steel Corporation from 1982 to 1989, Colin gained extensive experience in various engineering roles, including positions at Aker Solutions and Lloyds Register, where they focused on mechanical and rotating equipment. Colin has also contributed to numerous significant projects, including the Aasta Hansteen Floating Spar Platform and the Arctic LNG2, demonstrating a robust background in mechanical engineering and project management. They hold honors degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
