Darrell Oakley

Darrell Oakley currently serves as the Ecological Lead and Onshore/State Permitting Manager, as well as Avian and Bat Specialist at Equinor since May 2022. Prior to this role, Darrell held positions as a Senior Consultant at Epsilon Associates, Inc. from November 2018 to March 2022, and as an Environmental Scientist at National Grid from June 2016 to November 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Ecologist at VHB from July 2014 to November 2018 and as a Senior Ecologist at ESS Group, Inc. from August 2004 to June 2014. Earlier in the career, Darrell was a Project Scientist at Epsilon Associates from December 2002 to July 2004 and worked as an Environmental Scientist at Earth Tech from 1998 to December 2002, as well as with The Louis Berger Group from 1996 to 1998. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a Concentration in Environmental Science from Colby College and an Advanced Certificate in Field Botany from the New England Wildflower Society.
