Dr. Jane Mutoru

Wambui M. has extensive experience in the oil and natural gas industry, currently serving in North America Exploration & Production Operations at Equinor since May 2019, focusing on upstream asset operations, emissions reduction, and low carbon energy strategies. Wambui M. has held multiple roles at Equinor, including project leadership in engineering and operations, as well as reservoir development and management. Prior to Equinor, Wambui M. worked at ConocoPhillips from July 2012 to May 2019 in various capacities, including exploration, subsurface technology, and geoscience, implementing strategies for gas injection, reservoir optimization, and improved oil recovery. Wambui M. also served as a Fellow at Congress Avenue Ventures from January 2022 to February 2023. Academic credentials include an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, and a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from St. Lawrence University.
