Ferran Roca is a seasoned Project Leader at Equinor, with experience in early phase project development and responsibilities in partner-operated oil and gas licenses across Argentina, Azerbaijan, and Libya. Ferran has led engineering and construction activities in unconventional oil blocks in Argentina, and held roles as Principal Process Engineer on the Bay du Nord FPSO and Gina Krog platform. Prior to Equinor, Ferran worked at Statoil as a Senior Process Engineer, managing detailed engineering for floating storage units and leading projects for polymer injection at the Peregrino project. Experience as a Process Engineer at COWI A/S involved consulting for diverse projects across Northern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Ferran began a career in research and internships, with foundational education in Chemical Engineering from DTU and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
