Flemming Stene

Flemming Stene has over 30 years of experience in drilling and well operations, having worked with four different operators on the NCS. They have held various roles, including drilling engineer, drilling superintendent, and project leader, with significant contributions to projects such as the RLIS initiative at Equinor. Stene's expertise also encompasses leading advisor responsibilities in HPHT and deep-water drilling technology, as well as personnel deployment and competence strategies at Statoil. They hold degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger and Mechanical Engineering from Trondheim Ingeniørhøgskole. In their spare time, Stene enjoys photography and kayaking.
