Halfdan Brustad serves as Vice President at Equinor since June 2017, currently overseeing the Early Phase project development portfolio globally within the Project area. Brustad has played a crucial role in transforming project development methodologies to lower capital expenditures and establish a robust decision framework. Previously, Brustad was instrumental in driving the Dogger Bank development, the largest consented wind farm in the UK, and is responsible for Equinor's renewable growth ambitions in the region. In addition to various board roles, including membership in RenewableUK and chairmanship of Gatroben Offshore Development Limited, Brustad has extensive experience in offshore wind projects, having held significant positions at Statoil prior to joining Equinor. Brustad holds a Master's degree in Naval Architecture from NTH Trondheim.
