Igor Tostes

Igor Tostes is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance. Currently serving as Lead Counsel and Local Compliance Officer at Equinor since October 2021, Igor has previously held the position of Senior Associate at Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados from October 2013 to September 2021. Igor's background includes roles as an International Associate at White & Case LLP, as well as legal counsel in secondee positions at Enel Green Power Brasil e Uruguai and SBM Offshore, and experience as an Associate at Villemor Amaral Advogados. Igor began a legal career at Campos Mello Advogados as a Legal Intern and has completed various internships, including at Xavier, Bernardes, Bragança Sociedade de Advogados. Igor holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Chicago Law School and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with a post-graduate degree in Corporate Law from FGV and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
