James Rigg

James Rigg currently serves as the Business Development Lead at Equinor, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this, Rigg was the Director - Asset Manager at Kerogen Capital/Celerate X for nearly a decade, overseeing investment initiatives in the upstream oil and gas sector as well as sustainable energy solutions. Earlier roles included Exploration Geoscientist at CGG and Geoscientist at Fugro Robertson Ltd, along with consulting as a Geologist for Geointernational/Earthmoves and working with the Southeast Asia Research Group at Royal Holloway University. Rigg holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a degree in Geology and Geography from the University of Birmingham.
