Javier Luque

Javier Luque is a seasoned LPG trader with over 15 years of experience in global energy commodities. Currently serving as the Lead Portfolio LPG at Equinor, they have held various senior trading roles within the company since 2013, including responsibilities for managing global portfolios, derivatives trading, and negotiating term agreements. Javier began their career as an Exploration Geophysicist at PDVSA and has also contributed to commercial management and project engineering across different organizations. They hold a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geosciences from the University of Oslo and completed the Better Commercial Decisions program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
