Laerte Duque is a professional engineer with extensive experience in completion and well intervention operations in the oil and gas industry. Laerte has worked at Equinor from March 2018 to October 2024 as a Completion/Wells Intervention Principal Engineer and Wells/DP Rig Operations Principal Engineer. Previous positions include Senior Completion and Well Intervention Engineer at Repsol from February 2017 to February 2018, and various roles at Halliburton, including Account Representative and Completion Field Technician from January 2008 to December 2008. Laerte also held engineering positions at Repsol YPF from January 2009 to October 2011 and with Repsol from October 2011 to July 2016. Laerte holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Salgado de Oliveira and a Master's degree in Reservoir Engineering from Universidad de Buenos Aires. Additionally, Laerte has an Electromechanical degree from CEFET-Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica.
