Luke Walker

Luke Walker is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in exploration and production within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Leading Geologist for Exploration & Production International at Equinor since July 2017, Luke has previously held positions as a Principal Geologist for Exploration US & Mexico GOM and for Exploration & Production. Prior to joining Equinor, Luke worked as an independent consultant and spent time at Noble Energy and Apache Corporation, focusing on geological projects in diverse locations including Yemen, China, Argentina, and the Deep Water Gulf of Mexico. Luke began a career with ExxonMobil, gaining valuable experience in Norway, Africa, and North America, and initially worked as a development geologist for Esso Norge AS. Luke holds an MSc in Geology from the University of Michigan and a BSc in Geology from Bowling Green State University.
