Magnar Ottøy

Magnar Ottøy is a Senior Advisor at Equinor, where they have been contributing since 2020. Previously, they served as a Lead Engineer at Statoil from 2011 to 2020, focusing on plant integrity and offshore operations. Magnar also held the role of Senior Scientist at Tel-Tek from 1996 to 2001, specializing in membrane technology and participating in EU R&D programs. They worked as an Associate Professor at Telemark University College from 2001 to 2003, where they engaged in education and research in process and separation technology. Magnar holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, obtained in 1996.
