Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is a seasoned professional in reservoir geophysics with over three decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Equinor since June 2018, Mark possesses a robust background with Statoil, where roles included Advisor and Project Leader in Geophysical Reservoir Monitoring and Permanent Reservoir Monitoring, among others, from 1997 to 2018. Earlier experience includes positions as a Geophysicist at Schlumberger and Western Geophysical. Mark holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Earth Science from Kingston University.
