Mark Watson

Mark Watson is currently the Responsible Person for Electrical Facilities at Equinor, overseeing all electrical systems and the HV/LV safety rules in the UK. With experience as a Principal Engineer and Global Advisor for Equinor's renewable business, Mark has a strong background in managing multi-discipline engineering teams, particularly in offshore wind farms. Previously, Mark held roles at Statoil as a Leader in Operation & Maintenance and at Statkraft as a Transmission Asset Lead Engineer. Their career began as an Electrician with a full apprenticeship at Eastern Contracting Ltd, followed by various positions in the electrical field, including Site Manager at Carillion.
