Mathias Bellout

Mathias Bellout is a Principal Engineer in Reservoir Technology at Equinor, where they focus on reservoir simulation, optimization, and decision analysis. They previously served as a Postdoc at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum at NTNU, where they expanded their PhD research and contributed to the establishment of the Petroleum Cybernetics Group. Mathias has also held positions as a Mathematical Developer at Vysus Group and as a PhD researcher at Stanford University and IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. They earned a PhD in Reservoir Technology, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering, and a degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
