Michael Canam

Michael Canam, P. Eng. is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Equinor since November 2021. Previously, Michael worked at Cenovus Energy as a Risk Analyst in Cash Flow Analytics, utilizing time series analysis to develop custom probabilistic models for portfolio management and hedging. Prior experience includes a role as a Reservoir Engineer at Husky Energy, where Michael created workflows for reservoir uncertainty simulations and economic models for offshore projects. Michael began their career in the Engineering New Graduate Program at Husky Energy, completing three one-year rotations, including Operations Engineer in Training. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned in 2016.
