Mike Parry

Mike Parry is an accomplished HSSE professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, presently serving as the HSSE Assurance Manager at Equinor since December 2023. Previously, as the Global HSSE Manager at Wintershall Dea, Mike led significant changes in HSSE practices during a transitional period following a merger and the pandemic. In a former role as Country HSSE Manager for Schlumberger in Iraq and Kurdistan, Mike directed safety operations, managed substantial teams, and navigated complex political and operational risks. Earlier career highlights include successfully leading HSSE initiatives for MPA Limited, where revenue grew dramatically, and a range of consulting roles that involved managing crisis events and optimizing safety structures in high-threat environments. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport & Human Movement Studies from the University Wales Institute of Cardiff.
