Nicholas Potter

Nicholas Potter currently serves as President of Equinor Natural Gas LLC and Head of North American Gas Trading at Equinor, with a career that includes significant roles in the natural gas and energy sectors. Prior to Equinor, Nicholas held the position of Vice President of Commodities at Barclays Investment Bank and worked at Poten & Partners in LNG and Natural Gas Consulting. Nicholas's expertise was further developed during tenure as a Research Associate at CERA and as an intern focusing on Russian and Global Oil at Cambridge Energy Research Associates. In addition to current responsibilities, Nicholas serves on the Board of East Point Energy, a firm dedicated to energy storage project development. Academic credentials include a BA in Political Science & Russian Area Studies from Wheaton College, complemented by studies at the International University in Moscow.
