Øyvind Eide

Øyvind Eide is a Principal Analyst in IT at Equinor, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they were a Senior Consultant at Webstep from 2019 to 2023 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bergen from 2017 to 2019. Øyvind began their academic career at the University of Bergen, where they held a stipendiat role focusing on enhanced oil recovery and CO2 storage from 2011 to 2014. They hold a PhD in Reservoir Physics from the University of Bergen, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the same institution, complemented by a brief tenure as a visiting student researcher at Stanford University in 2013.
