Simon Leary

Simon Leary is a seasoned professional in the upstream oil and gas industry, with diverse experience in management and technical roles since 2001. They currently serve as the Manager of Technology Management at Equinor, focusing on subsurface technology within the realms of technology, digital innovation, and leadership. Previously, Simon held various roles including Exploration Manager for Northern North Sea Access at Statoil and Sedimentologist at Ichron Limited, where they specialized in geological studies across multiple countries. Simon earned an M.Sc in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen and a B.Sc in Geology from the University of Liverpool.
