Simone Silcock

Simone Silcock is an experienced Improvement Professional at Equinor, where since April 2013, the focus has been on strategic improvement projects and leading the EPI Asset Manager Network. With training as a Lean coach, Simone supports the Aberdeen office's improvement journey. Previously, as Asset Manager for UK and Ireland partner-operated licences, that role involved asset management responsibilities. Additionally, Simone has a background as a Reservoir Geophysicist, notably contributing to the establishment of an internal injectite workgroup. Prior experience includes serving as a Geoscientist at Merlin Energy Resources, wherein regional mapping and prospect generation were key responsibilities, and a Summer Research Student at Kerr McGee, focusing on Middle Jurassic sequence stratigraphy. Early volunteer work included participation in a geochemical baseline survey with the British Geological Survey. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Resource & Applied Geology from the University of Birmingham, a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen, and an MBA from the University of Worcester.
