Stephen Hay is an experienced manager in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Manager at Equinor since April 2018, overseeing partner-operated assets in Exploration Production Norway. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Exploration Manager for the Domanik Oil Joint Venture with Rosneft. Stephen's extensive experience includes various key roles at Statoil from September 1995 to March 2018, such as Leading Geologist and License & Exploration Manager, where responsibilities spanned project leadership in Angola and Nigeria and overseeing PSC licenses. Earlier in Stephen's career, positions at BP included Senior Geochemist and Geochemist, contributing significantly to E&P assets and research initiatives. Stephen holds a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Glasgow and a BSc from the University of Dundee.
