Sun Yu

Sun Yu is an experienced business development professional with a strong focus on renewable energy across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Business Development Manager for APAC at Equinor since February 2020, Sun Yu engages with government stakeholders and industry players to advance the renewable business. Previous roles include Project Manager for offshore wind projects in Vietnam, Business Originator for market entry strategies in India, and leading various business development initiatives in Australia and China. Sun Yu also held senior managerial positions at GCL Technology Holdings Limited and China National Nuclear Corporation, promoting renewable energy and nuclear technology on an international scale. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Vlerick Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Beijing International Studies University.
