Timothy John

Timothy John is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in reservoir characterisation and exploration. Currently working at Equinor as a Geologist since February 2023, Timothy previously served as an Explorationist at Source Energy AS from February 2019 to November 2022. With a notable tenure at Statoil from June 2007 to December 2018, Timothy held titles such as Principal Geologist Field Development and Principal Reservoir Geologist, contributing significantly to projects on the Njord field by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on well planning, geological modelling, and sedimentological interpretation. Earlier roles include Reservoir Geologist at PanTerra Geoscience B.V. from 2003 to 2007, where the focus was on core descriptions and reservoir characterisation, and Core Analyst at PanTerra Geoconsultants from 2001 to 2003, concentrating on petrophysical analyses. Timothy holds a Master of Science degree in Structural Geology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2001.
