Tom Birchall

Tom Birchall is a Principal Geologist at Equinor, where they focus on pore pressure and wellbore stability prognosis for exploration drilling targets. Previously, Tom served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University Centre in Svalbard and completed a PhD in Geology at the same institution. They have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having held roles with Maersk Oil and Ikon Science, where they contributed to various geological assessments and studies. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Durham and a Master's degree in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen.
