Tor Inge Hystad

Tor Inge Hystad has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and crane operations, currently serving as Manager Mechanical & Inspection and Manager Crane & Lifting Operations at Equinor since May 2018. Prior to this role, Tor Inge Hystad held managerial and engineering positions at Statoil from November 2011 to May 2018, including Manager Crane & Lifting Operations and Principal Engineer Crane & Lift. Earlier career experience includes roles at Det Norske Veritas from October 2005 to November 2011, focusing on design verification, crane inspections, and certification, as well as a position as Package Responsible Engineer - Mechanical at Aibel. Tor Inge Hystad began the career as a Sales Engineer at PMC Servi AS from October 1999 to April 2004. Tor Inge Hystad holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, completed in 1998.
