Trond Straume

Trond Straume is the CEO of Volue, an international provider of software and technology services for the energy and infrastructure sectors, since March 2020. Additional roles include serving as a member of the Corporate Assembly at Equinor since June 2021, and previously holding the position of CEO at Powel AS from August 2018 to May 2020, following its merger with Wattsight, Scanmatic, and Markedskraft. Trond's extensive experience at AVEVA from 2010 to 2018 includes roles such as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President for various product development sectors, where responsibilities spanned global software solutions for enterprise markets. Prior positions held include Director of R&D at ADB Systemer AS and managerial roles at Ernst & Young Advisory and Lyse Tele. Trond holds a Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Stavanger.
