Vegar Stokset is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Communication Leader at Equinor since June 2023, Vegar previously held positions as a Communications Advisor at Eidsiva Energi and Head of Media Relations at Gassnova SF, contributing to significant initiatives related to energy and climate goals. With a background that includes leadership roles in communications at Technology Centre Mongstad, Grenland Group, Statoil, and Hydro Oil & Energy, Vegar has developed expertise in strategic communication, media relations, and public engagement. Vegar's career began as a journalist at Varden, and academic credentials include a BA in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
