Mike Shea

Mike Shea is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as a Senior Attorney at Equip for Equality since October 2014, Mike previously held the position of Staff Attorney within the same organization. Prior to this, Mike worked as an Associate Attorney at Webber & Thies, P.C. from November 2011 to September 2014, and gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at the Champaign County Office of the State’s Attorney in early 2013. Mike’s legal career began with a Summer Internship at Equip for Equality in 2011. Beyond the legal field, Mike served as a Pastor at Community Evangelical Free Church from 1994 to 2010. Educationally, Mike holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, a Master of Divinity from Trinity International University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
