JD Ouellette

JD Ouellette is the Director of Mentorship at Equip. JD has over seven years of experience in education, including five years as a Senior Program Director for Allied Health Programs. In this role, they were responsible for Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, and Pharmacy Technician Programs. JD successfully managed and advised a diverse student population impacted by a range of contemporary social issues.

JD has a strong commitment to customer service and compliance. JD has achieved excellent performance metrics exceeding industry standards as an individual and team by focusing on meeting stakeholder needs. JD has also operated their department to meet accreditation standards of Accrediting Council of Independent Schools and Colleges and Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

JD is also involved in curriculum development. JD has served on curriculum rewrite committees, served as a subject matter expert, and led the company in providing key feedback to the corporate curriculum department.

JD is an effective leader who hires and trains team members who have impact both in and beyond their classrooms. JD also supports the Academic Dean by assisting with hiring for other departments, creating cross-curricular special projects, and serving as point of contact in their absence.

JD Ouellette has a M.S. in Instructional Leadership from National University and a Teaching Credential from California State University San Marcos in Elementary Education and Teaching. JD also has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from California State University San Marcos.

Oona Hanson - Family Mentor, Jayme Nimick - Family Mentor, and Linsey Henry - Family Mentor report to JD Ouellette. Their manager is Kristina Saffran, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Tana Luo - Director, Therapy, Elisa Vincent - VP, People, and Erin Parks - Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder.
