Lena Morano

Lena Morano has a diverse work experience history. Lena is currently working as a Project Coordinator at EquipNet since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Community College Initiative Coordinator at Jamestown Community College from July 2021 to July 2022. From 2014 to 2021, Lena worked at Chautauqua Institution, where they held multiple roles including Lead Supervisor of Ticket Sales, Special Studies Registrar, and Ticket Sales and Support Specialist. In 2018, Lena worked as an Elementary Educator at Sherman Central School. Lena also worked as a Ski Instructor at Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa from 2012 to 2020, where they focused on creating customized skiing instruction and ensuring student safety. Additionally, Lena has experience as a Deli Associate at Wegmans Food Markets from 2017 to 2018, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Lena Morano pursued their education in a chronological order. Lena first earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education, from St. Bonaventure University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. During their time at St. Bonaventure University, Lena also participated in a study abroad program in Seville, Spain, spending a semester at The International College of Seville and the Universidad de Sevilla to study Spanish language and literature.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Lena obtained additional certifications, including an Early Childhood Teacher certification and an Elementary School Teacher certification from the New York State Education Department in May 2018. Lena furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design from SUNY Brockport, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Lena has obtained various certifications in computer software and diversity training. Lena completed an Excel Boot Camp, Excel: PivotTables for Beginners, Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners, Learning Excel Desktop (Office 365/Microsoft 365), and Learning Word 2021 courses through LinkedIn in May 2022. Lena also obtained certifications in Becoming an Ally to All and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging through LinkedIn in January 2022.
