Dougald MacDonald is a seasoned editor and writer with extensive experience in the climbing and outdoor sports publishing industry. Currently serving as Editor at Large for Climbing Magazine and Executive Editor for the American Alpine Club since 2012, MacDonald has previously held key editorial positions including Editor in Chief at Climbing Magazine and Associate Editor at American Alpine Journal. A prolific contributor, MacDonald has written for notable publications such as Outside, Men's Journal, and Backpacker, while also editing American Alpine News and E-News.
